
Salmon & Onsen Egg Quinoa Poke Bowl
A colorful, nutrient-packed bowl topped with sashimi-grade salmon, creamy avocado, onsen eggs, and fresh veggies—perfectly balanced and easy to make using the BUYDEEM G32 Mini Electric Food Steamer.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- White rice - 160g
- Quinoa - 40g
- Eggs (safe to eat raw/soft-cooked) - 3
- Okra - 2
- Cucumber - 1/4
- Cherry tomatoes - 6
- Avocado - 1
- Sweet corn kernels - 1/3 cup
- Thick-cut sashimi-grade salmon - 1 box
- Kimchi - 20g
- Lettuce - 1 bowl
- Furikake (rice seasoning) - 1 tsp
- Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
- Wasabi - 1/2 tsp
- Sushi soy sauce - 1/2 tbsp
- Lemon - 1
- Apple cider vinegar or black vinegar - 1 tbsp
- Light soy sauce - 1 tbsp
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp
- Black pepper
Instructions
1. Rinse rice and quinoa. Add water at a 1:1 ratio and steam for 25 minutes until fully cooked.
2. Steam okra for 3 minutes, then slice. Slice the cucumber, halve the cherry tomatoes, cube the avocado. Cut salmon into bite-size pieces and toss with sushi soy sauce, wasabi, and sesame seeds. Set aside.
3. Spoon the quinoa rice into bowls and mix with furikake. Arrange all prepped toppings neatly on top.
4. Boil 1L of water, then turn off the heat and add about 200ml of cold water. Gently place the eggs in, cover, and let sit for 12–13 minutes. Transfer to cold water to cool before cracking.
5. Whisk together apple cider vinegar, light soy sauce, olive oil, and black pepper. Crack a soft-cooked onsen egg into each bowl, sprinkle with furikake or sprouts, drizzle with dressing, and enjoy this fresh, flavorful bowl!
