With the BUYDEEM Cooker with Nonstick Stockpot, every step — from searing to slow cooking to serving — happens effortlessly in one beautiful pot.
Ingredients
- 500g beef brisket
- 300g kimchi
- ½ white radish
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 slices ginger
- 1 star anise
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Korean chili paste (gochujang)
- Salt, to taste
- Sesame oil, for finishing
Instructions:
1. Prep the ingredients: Cut and blanch the beef brisket, then rinse clean. Slice radish, onion, and kimchi for later.
2. Sear for flavor: Turn on Sear Mode. Heat a little oil and sauté garlic, ginger, onion, and spices until fragrant.

3. Add the beef and kimchi: Add beef pieces and sear until the edges are lightly browned. Stir in the kimchi and cook for 2 minutes to release its aroma.

4. Build the broth: Mix in soy sauce, tomato paste, and Korean chili paste. Add enough hot water to cover the beef, then switch to Slow Cook High mode and let it cook gently for about 4 hours.

5. Add the finishing touch: Add radish and continue cooking until soft and tender. Adjust salt to taste, then drizzle sesame oil before serving.
