Green coconut    -----  1

Lean pork             -----  ½ pound

Chicken                 -----  half

Ginger                   ----- 3 slices

Red date             ----- 6 

Honey date        ----- 1

Dried solomon’s seal  ----- 200g

Dried ladybell root     -----50g


  1. Boil the water and add the coconut water to the pot. The ratio of water and coconut water is 2:1.
  2. Put ginger, honey date, red dates, and lean pork.
  3. Take out the coconut meat, cut it to shreds, and add it to the pot.
  4. Season the chicken with salt (1 teaspoon), sugar (2 teaspoons), and chicken powder (2 teaspoons) and mix them. And then add corn oil (2 teaspoons), sesame oil (2 teaspoons), and cornstarch (4 teaspoons).
  5. Put the dried Solomon’s seal, and dried ladybell root into the pot, and let it simmer gently for 5 min.
  6. Add a teaspoon of salt and the chicken and boil for 10 min.
